Upholstery Steam Cleaning with a ChemDry difference
Many of us love the idea of upholstery steam cleaning. Combining heat and water can be a very effective way of cleaning many things. Steam cleaning is used on driveways, car engines, industrial floors, parking garages, indoor bathroom or kitchen tiles as well as on carpets and upholstery. Upholstery Steam Cleaning can be very effective. We use the system of hot water extract on the majority of our lounge cleaning. There is one major difference. We use a lot less water and our cleaning solution is carbonated. This leads to significantly reduced drying times for our upholstery cleaners when they restore your lounges.
Not every lounge can be steam cleaned
Some fabrics like silk and viscose do not respond well to a water based cleaning process where heat is involved. Other fabrics like microfibre, nylon and polyester can be cleaned very well using hot water extraction or steam cleaning. Natural fabric material like cotton and linen lend themselves to upholstery steam cleaning with a emphasis on low moisture usage. This is just a drier version of steam cleaning which is ideal for heavy duty fabrics where browning or rust may occur.
What else can we do after the lounges have been cleaned?
Our technicians will be able to apply a bacteria busting treatment on the fabric in the form of Milgo QGC or Microban. This is a fantastic disinfectant and can counter mould growth as well. No more fears of lurking germs in your precious upholstery. Cleaning and the Milgo application combine to deliver the most hygienic clean possible.
After completing the upholstery cleaning, we are also able to treat fabric with a stain-resistant protector where future fabric staining might be an issue.
For allergy suffers, our technicians can apply a dust mite treatment to help you and your family to breath easier.
