Wool Upholstery Cleaning the Chem-Dry Ultimate way
Wool is a fantastic fabric. As carpet cleaners, we just love the response we get when we clean wool carpets. Our customers are normally very delighted with the results and will not have anybody but Chem-Dry do the work. Our Wool Upholstery Cleaning technicians also have the same experience. Wool fabric sofas are an absolute dream to clean with our Chem-Dry low moisture carbonated cleaning solution. We get outstanding cleaning results and the fabric dries very quickly. In summer this could be between 2-4 hours after the work was carried out. In winter the wool fabric will take longer to dry. It does mean that in most cases your wool lounge could be used the same day. Want to know the best bit? Unlike viscose fabric cleaning, no solvents are needed because our product – Natural 2 – is water-based.

Our results on wool fabric upholstery is that good that we wish that more upholstery is made of wool. Sadly it is not found that often and we are amazed by this. Wool is easy to clean and is a natural fibre. The only proviso is that when you you clean wool, you do not saturate the fabric. Chem-Dry and wool fabric/fibres are made for each other.

When we clean upholstery, our technicians will clean and sanitise every nook and cranny of your lounge suite. The back of the couch, side, front, all the cushions including scatter cushions, will be properly cleaned to ensure that your lounges are bacteria free. As with all carpet and sofa cleaning, to ventilate the rooms where the cleaning has taken place, speeds up the drying. The one exception in Sydney is during a cold, wet and wintry day. But then again, nothing dries quickly on such days!
